Brad S. Cook, O.D.
Dr. Cook was born and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri, a historic river town where the Pony Express began and the life of the outlaw Jessie James ended. Upon graduating with honors from high school, he pursued an engineering degree from Missouri Western State University. During this time he worked in the ophthalmic field becoming fascinated with the complexities of the human eye. Upon graduating with honors he attended the University Of Missouri School Of Optometry. He excelled both academically and politically serving as the student body president. During his education and looking into the future, he chose to pursue the new field of gerontology.

With eye conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration growing exponentially, he was educated at several Veterans Administration Hospitals in the Midwest. Upon graduating with honors, he relocated to Florida to work with one of the only surgeons in the country who performed the new PRK laser procedure at the time. With a love of all things outdoors, he relocated to Inverness. His hobbies include useless trivia, anything with an engine and being a Kansas City certified BBQ judge.
